Carla Prado is one of southern California’s most well-known and beloved escrow officers, having served the industry for more than 30 years. She joined Glen Oaks Escrow in 2007 based on the company’s longstanding reputation, forward-thinking founders and positive environment.

“My day always starts with a smile and plenty of greetings,” she offered. “I love coming to the office because the work we do is challenging, interesting and valued by our clients. No two transactions are ever alike. There are always new personalities to meet, different issues to resolve and research to undertake.” Over the years, Carla has worked for several escrow companies including her own and views the real estate market from a holistic perspective. “As the market changes, so do the opportunities and Glen Oaks Escrow is proactively serving them.”

Carla’s passion for the escrow business combined with a vibrant personality has led to a natural inclination to mentor those advancing their escrow careers. She currently manages a team of six and shares not only her wealth of knowledge but also her client motto: “Tell me your goal, and I’ll get you there.” Her experience spans all types of escrows including foreclosures, refinancing, short sales, commercial, residential, bulk sales and 1031 Tax Exchange.

Carla’s love of people and travel has carried her off to exotic locales, her favorite being Africa. “Their culture and lifestyle is so different, yet common bonds do exist. A smile is just as well received there as it is here.”
