There may be a ceiling in some businesses but not at Glen Oaks Escrow according to Jennifer Foster. In the escrow industry for more than a decade, Jennifer saw something unique in the company – a progressive, all-in approach to supporting their employees and growing the organization.
“Glen Oaks Escrow gives me the tools to be successful,” Jennifer says. “They have the right balance of business acumen and friendly management that makes for a great environment.” The Escondido native originally planned to go into law, but a summer job at an escrow firm changed her mind. “I love interacting with clients and focusing on the details of drawing documents and preparing files. Escrow gives me the perfect combination.” Jennifer manages all types of residential escrow, primarily in the coastal region of North San Diego County and is a Notary Public. She also handles all of the escrows for the City of Carlsbad’s affordable units. Although very labor-intensive, the work gives her the opportunity to give back, which she enjoys immensely.
As fall approaches, Jennifer’s sunny personality gets even brighter at the prospect of football season. She and her husband love cheering on their favorite NFL team, the Green Bay Packers followed by who else? The San Diego Chargers!
There’s nothing Deborah Milks likes better than leaving her desk, going into the community and connecting Realtors and homebuyers with a great escrow experience. She joined Glen Oaks Escrow in San Diego for the opportunity of nurturing existing relationships and cultivating new ones with a company known for its high standards.
“Glen Oaks Escrow is progressive, supportive and very friendly,” Deborah commented. “I’m thrilled to work with professionals whose primary focus is the customer’s satisfaction. It’s a great environment.” Deborah’s role in business development enables her to leverage her 17 years of escrow experience, both behind the desk and out in the field. She has worked for escrow as well as title companies and is known for her positive attitude, exceptional customer service and ready smile. “I enjoy paperwork, but I love working with people. Helping them find the right escrow officer. Meeting all of the different entities in the transaction. It’s very rewarding.”
Deborah is a notary public as well as a fine cook—a skill she brings to the table and generously shares with friends and family.
Customer service is deeply rooted in sales representative, Kellee Sauter. She got her start in restaurant catering and had such an infectious personality and can-do attitude, she was recruited by one of her own customers to leave the restaurant business and join them at their title and escrow company. For the next 17 years she honed her craft and then made the move to Glen Oaks Escrow.
“I love building and maintaining business relationships, and Glen Oaks Escrow makes that possible,” Kellee shared recently. “Their support system is great, the technology is topnotch and the company is committed to making raving fans through everyone we touch. That aligns perfectly with my customer service philosophy.“
Kellee is an advocate of participating in local associations and is active in the San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR), North San Diego County Association of Realtors (NSDCAR), Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) and National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). She is also committed to assisting local charities including Operation America Cares, which provides care packages to U.S. troops and the Angel’s Depot, a seniors advocacy group that assists San Diego’s elderly poor.
An active mother of three sons, Kellee is their biggest cheerleader at sporting and academic events. In quieter moments, she can be found at the beach, listening to music or indulging her love of interior design.
