Marlene Pardo brings over 35 years of real estate and mortgage industry experience to her role as an Escrow Officer, including 23 years specializing in escrow.  Her expertise spans a variety of transaction types: re-sale escrows, refinances, 1031 exchanges, reverse exchanges, and Laguna Woods properties, including co-ops.  She holds a BA in Public Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and Labor Relations from San Diego State University – an academic foundation that, paired with her broad range of escrow experience, allows Marlene to expertly navigate the complexities of any escrow transaction.  Marlene is passionate about helping clients buy and sell their home.  It is a process she finds both exciting and rewarding.  She approaches each transaction with compassion and patience, ensuring her clients feel supported during what can be a life-changing experience.  When she isn’t behind her desk, she enjoys spending quality time with her children, family, and friends. A San Diego native, she loves the beach, working out, cooking, staying active and watching her favorite football team, the Chargers. A few fun facts: She has completed three half-marathons and holds a black belt in TaeKwon-Do!

With over 24 years of experience in the real estate industry, spanning 14 years in escrow and 10 years in commercial loans, Cecilia has become a trusted expert in communication and workflow optimization. She thrives in the ever-evolving world of real estate, finding inspiration in its dynamic and fast-paced nature. Her professional strengths lie in relationship building, collaboration, coaching, and problem solving, which she considers the most rewarding aspects of her work. Beyond the office, she has a passion for live theater, exploring the great outdoors through hiking and camping, and unwinding at the beach. Recently, she’s embraced golfing as an exciting new pastime. A fun and surprising fact about Cecilia? Despite not knowing how to swim, she adores being in the water and doesn’t let that stop her from an adventure!
